McKinley Princess Lodge

The McKinley Princess Lodge is located about 40 miles north of the town of Talkeetna and 100 miles south of the Denali National Park entrance. Situated within Denali State Park on the Chulitna River, the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge is a true wilderness retreat. Boasting an incredible view of majestic Mt. McKinley, the lodge offers vaulted ceilings, a massive stone fireplace, lobby piano, outdoor hot tubs, a children's playground and nature trails that stretch for miles. Guest rooms are nestled peacefully throughout the property and all offer nine-foot ceilings with fans, a sitting area, television, and a telephone, two double beds and private bath. The McKinley Princess Lodge offers two dining choices. Sophisticated cuisine and panoramic views in the Mountain View Restaurant or casual fare in the Cub Cafe.

Swiss Alaska Inn

The Swiss Alaska Inn has 20 new or newly remodeled guest rooms. The Inn has two rooms with king sized beds and jacuzzi baths, two rooms that are wheelchair accessible throughout, four rooms that have three beds each, and 12 with either two doubles or a double and a single. All guest rooms have private baths with shower and tub, hair dryers, and DVD or video players in the room (There is a video store across the street). All of them have light colored patchwork quilts on the beds. The rooms are located in three buildings; the main lodge, a smaller building with four rooms, and a larger two story building with eight rooms. All guest rooms are non-smoking.
The onsite restaurant offers casual dining in pleasant surroundings with a full breakfast, specializing in our famous omelets and Swiss-style French toast; delicious lunches including buffalo burgers, hamburgers, homemade soups and chili; and fresh Halibut or Salmon dinners. The dining room seats 50 people and offers a picture perfect view of Mt. McKinley and a relaxed informal lounge. We can pack a lunch for your day excursions as well as cook your catch.
